The Resonate worship ministry seeks to bring powerful, passionate worship to the one and only God.  We believe that worship is more than music… worship is a lifestyle that honors our God who has saved us from death and released us to give back to Him a sacrifice of praise!  Music is an outlet by which we can offer our sacrifice of worship to God.

We were created to worship- will we hold back, or will we worship with power?  Resonate is comprised of imperfect people who know the freedom and thrill of worshiping God with our lives and music.

More about the Resonate Worship Ministry

Resonate is the contemporary worship ministry of Winn’s Baptist Church in Glen Allen, VA, led by Caleb Brauer.  Our passion is to offer a powerful sacrifice of worship to our Father through our music and our lives.  When we gather together as those who have been brought out of death to life by Jesus Christ, there is a reason to shout and praise God!

Our gathering is about freedom.  We are free from our chains as we embrace Jesus Christ’s payment for our sins.  We are free to bring our burdens and lay them down at His feet.  We are free to bring the joy that God has given us and turn it into a shout of praise.  We are free to lift our hands and reach out to the one who has us in His hands.  We are free to come as we are and worship through the struggles and trials, the peace and prosperity.

Resonate leads worship for the contemporary services (Sundays at 9:30 a.m.) at Winn’s, and in the fall of 2011 will be leading worship for the new Awaken collegiate ministry.

Our worship style echoes closely that of Hillsong Church.  Our musicians come from different backgrounds and bring beautiful enthusiasm and musicianship to the stage.  While we have already been blessed with great musicians whose lives reflect their worship, we are always looking for more volunteers who want to be a part of what we do.  We have several outlets at Winn’s Baptist Church for musicians of all ages to be involved in worship leading.  Resonate is seeking those in the 16-30ish age range who are committed and passionate about worship.  If you would like to express interest in being involved with Resonate or any other part of Winn’s worship ministries, send me a message or come talk to me!  My contact information is on the Contact tab of this site.
